In 1991, shortly after being inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, a production company from Houston, Texas, produced a 45 minute documentary film on the life of Earl Campbell. Twenty years later, Earl Campbell and his family approached us with the concern that the video was out of date and since it was only available on VHS, the ability to view the video was becoming more difficult. They asked Trivinity We took the original film, added in new highlights we acquired from The University of Texas and additional interviews we filmed with Earl, Bum Phillips, Outland Award Winner Brad Shearer, Johnny Ham Jones, Randy McEachern, Rick Ingraham, and Mack Brown. We mastered the new, extended length biography to DVD, packaged it for commercial sale and helped the Campbell family develop a sale portal on the web. We also created promotional clips that were shown on the JumboTron at Texas home games and advertising stills for use on the web and in print. The DVD was available in stores and is still available online. The updated DVD sold several thousand copies, entertained thousands of Earl’s fans with never before seen footage and interviews and introduced a new generation to the amazing career of Earl Campbell.
